Bloggin' it up

I don't even know what brought me to write here. I really could not have told you what the hell a blog was 3 months ago, but living with my computer savvy (and ever so good looking) roommate has given me a clue into a culture unbeknownst previous to our sassy little apartment life.

I suppose, as most of these things go, that this is more for personal reasons then public. Nice to be able to accomplish something, even if it is just a posting of your thoughts on the web…A measurable task with instant gratification in the form of little "blog comments". A delight to the soul that outweighs scribbling in a paper journal.

But what to chat about? What to say? Where will my little blogger go and what direction will it take as it grows and flourishes? Personal Reflection? Funny anecdotes? Links upon links to the strange and bewildering? Perhaps a little dash of them all...hopefully enough to keep someone interested. (Maybe just me)

I look forward to what this might bring and am surprised that it took this little English major this much time to post.

What is this nonsense?

Themes From The In Crowd was an 8-track tape that my bestie and I found while at a thrift store one day. Who knew that 8 years later it would be useful as a title to my recently released blog?!
